2. Main Applications

● The structural properties of channel steel make it well suited for bearing bending stresses and are commonly used for load-bearing beams and edge reinforcement.

● Load-bearing beams: These are the primary load-bearing structures for assembling fiberglass grating floors and operating platforms. The grating panels are placed directly on the channel steel beams.

● Edge reinforcements: These serve as safety guards on the edges of platforms and grating panels, adding strength and aesthetics.

● Guide rails and runners: They serve as guide rails for equipment in corrosive environments.

When selecting, it is necessary to determine the specific specifications and the type of resin used (such as vinyl ester resin with better corrosion resistance) based on the actual load-bearing requirements, type and concentration of the corrosive medium.
